Kathmandu, Aug. 25: Nepal Investment Bank has provided financial support worth Rs. one million in a bid to support the flood-hit people across the country.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the bank, Jyoti Pandey, handed over the cheque to the Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at the latter’s residence amid a program held this morning.
Commending the generous support that has come forth from the public and all sector towards dealing with the disaster, Prime Minister Koirala, on the occasion, said that it has been proved that all Nepalis come together to join hands with the government to address the aftermath of such disaster.
CEO Pandey said the support was made as part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility and thereby to help government in times of natural calamity.
