JAPAN COMMENCED ON VISA FREE-REGIME WITH BANGLADESH

Bangladesh, September 9:   In an official meeting last Saturday between Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, visa relaxation has been considered for future official passport holders.

This is first time in 14 years, Japanese Prime Minister arrived in Dhaka after the Prime Minister Hasina visit in Tokyo in May when ” a comprehensive partnership ” between two countries took off.

Prime Minister Abe and Hasina both signed the agreement to resolve and widen mutual relationship under comprehensive partnership framework.

Prime Minister Abe has expressed his extensive appreciation to Prime Minister Hasina and to all the people of Bangladesh for warm welcome, gracious hospitality during his visit.

Furthermore, the two leaders talked about the resolution to support high level interactions especially between political and government officials along with youths,media, sports,academics and cultural personalities to strengthen mutual understanding.

Prime Minister Hasina said to provide full government support for a successful preparation for 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
