Kathmandu, 28 Oct 2014: Visiting Chairman of the Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) of the People’s Republic of China, Luosang Jiangcun today called on UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at letter’s residence at Lazimpat today.
A visiting team led by Jiangcun wished for timely promulgation of a new constitution for the prosperity of the nation and praised the ‘One China’ policy adopted by Nepal.
Similarly, chairman Dahal said that he and his party was committed to the One China policy and pointed out the need of going ahead by holding discussions on the issues of common interests for the betterment of the two states.
The two leaders also held discussions on matters of bilateral interests and other issues, said Dahal’s aide Shiva Khakurel.
Meanwhile, the Tibet government provided 100 sets of computers to the UCPN (Maoist) party, Khakurel added.
