Mustang, May 27, 2015: Jomsom-Pokhara flight service has been launched by the Goma Air from Tuesday.
The Goma aircraft carrying 18 passengers on board in its first flight had landed at Jomsom Airport on Tuesday. Due to the convenience of air passengers of the major tourism sites the flight service has been expanded here.
Anil Sherchan of Goma Airlines said that acting on the demand of domestic and foreign tourists the air service has been extended. Similarly, the Airlines has set an air fare of Rs 2,600 for Nepali and $ 123 for foreigners for the time being. Sherchan further addd that though they had mooted bringing flight service here earlier the earthquake has delayed their efforts. From now onward they would render our service regularly.
Likewise, the Goma Air has been boarding passengers from Surkhet and Lukla before this. The Tara and Simrik Air have been rendering air services to passengers on Jomsom-Pokhara route.
