Kathmandu, September 10, 2018: Josh Talk, in partnership with Facebook, successfully hosted it’s 14th event of the year on the 8th of September. The day long conference took place in Southwestern State College, Kathmandu with almost 200 attendees.

The conference labelled the beginning of the Josh Talks International Community giving a common platforms for various entrepreneurs and changemakers to share their inspiring narratives. The #BoostYourBusiness workshop by Facebook focused to network the aspiring entrepreneurs with upcoming professionals to bring a wave of change in the job industry. The conference was led by influential figures with captivating stories. Ahmed Dulla, the son of a restaurateur shared his journey about how he was mocked down as a ‘mochi’ when he chose shoe designing as a career. His attempt to change the social perception by establishing a luxurious brand;The Factory Team left everyone moved.

Similarly, the founder of Tootle, Sixit Bhatta mentioned his entrepreneurial journey from an engineer and banker to creating one of the most promising startups in Asia. His vision of ‘what it takes to be an entrepreneur’ received a huge round of applause. Likewise the story of a stand-up comedian, Shailee Basnet reflected her effort to take woman power to the Mount Everest and the life lessons that climbing the Mount Everest taught her,which left everyone astonished. On the other hand, Saunak Bhatta, the Executive Director at We Inspire Nepal (WIN) and a leading motivational speaker, inspired many leaders, entrepreneurs, and organizations in the conference with his motivating words.

In the same way, Global Entrepreneur Shailendra Raj Giri narrated his journey to creating merojob.com, which helps job seekers from various industries connect to the right organization. His emphasis on ‘thinking out of the box’ triggered the audience. Clock b Business Innovations, Relevent Management Pvt. Ltd., Association of Youth Organizations Nepal, ESOS Global Pvt.
