Kathmandu, Nov 16,2014: Chairman of the World Tour Campaign Nepal Navaraj Bhattarai and general secretary Narayan Prasad Bhatarai have completed their India tour and returned home.

They set on a journey for world tour with a slogan ‘Press Freedom and Positive Journalism’ beginning from Kakadbhitta of Nepal through Sikkim, India. They also aim to introduce Nepal to the world through the tour.

The journalists have completed all India tour in a year. They formally concluded the all India tour organizing a programme in presence of Charge D’ Affaires of Nepalese Embassy in New Delhi Tirtha Raj Wagle.

Narayan and Navaraj popularly known as Koham of Tiwari Bhanjyang VDC-3 and Soham of Changre VDC-5 from Bhojpur district had already completed all Nepal tour in 730 days.

The tour has been covered in a documentary and a book explaining their experience and bio diversity of the country.

Talking to RSS about their India visit the journalists said, “India is a reflection of the whole world where there are so many challenges and possibilities.

The Bhadgaule Topi (typical Nepali cap) with a sticker of national flag pasted in it recognized them easily and gave high respect to them during the India tour.

The Indian people including Indian journalists are fond of visiting Pashupatinath temple, Lumbini and other places but lacks necessary knowledge to get permission for visiting these world renowned sites of Nepal.

Bhattarai duo explained their visit with Chief Minister of Goa Ravi Nayak, former Shankaracharya Satya Mitranand Giri, Swami Ram Dev, Acharya Balkrishna including the litterateurs Indra Bahadur Rai, Lila Bahadur Chhetri, Damber Dahal, Nava Sapkota and Bhupendra Adhikari, among others.

They also made their trip to Bhutan and Myanmar where people of Nepali origin felicitated them.

They will soon leave for their tour to Bangladesh and other SAARC nations.
