Kangana to launch the Gap Store

Kangana Ranaut has been a talk enough about amazing sense of style, and is indeed considered a serious Stylista! With a taste for designer names and elegant styles, she is all about channeling classic looks.

Her fit frame, untamed curls and sexy confidence to carry any style off is admirable, and that’s only one of the many reasons we have a massive style crush on this actress.

Today, she has the style and swagger – both on and off screen – to wow everyone. She’ll wear whatever her character needs to on screen. For public appearances, Ranaut wears Dior, Burberry and Chanel. And because she is Ranaut, she has been buying these outfits, rather than receiving them with compliments of the designer and couture house as many actresses do.

Kangana has been spotted sporting Gap logo tees at film premieres and even in a brief scene in her recent Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Ranaut  inaugurated India’s first and sprawling 11,000 sq ft Gap store in the capital.  Most excited about stocking up on her essentials, “soft T-shirts, shirts and denims,” she tells us how to get basic right this summer—the Gap way!

“Summers in India require something white and indigo to cool off with. If I am in a really girly mood then maybe a short dress or maxi, but a dressed-up or dressed-down pair of shorts is my go-to. I love the chambray  shorts as well as the white tailored ones. One could easily pair them with a printed button-down shirt or even a T-shirt.”

The day-to-night look
“Nothing beats the classic white shirt. For an easy-going day look, I would pair it with the girlfriend jeans from the collection, which I also happen to love. For a sexier night-time look, I would simply accessorize with a sling bag, cool footwear and a statement necklace.”

Always skinny
“What I love about this brand is that it’s on-trend, yet classic and comfortable. I love their skinny jeans. They would work very well with a white tunic shirt.”
