‘Kathmandu Varanasi Sangitik Sandhaya’ Organized


Kathmandu, July 31, 2016: Embassy of India, B. P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation together with Sur-Sudha and Siddhartha Art Gallery organized a musical programme, ‘Kathmandu Varanasi Sangitik Sandhya,’ at the Army Officers’ Club in Kathmandu.

In the programme, Nepalese music band Sur Sudha and vocalist Dr. Bishnu Poudel gave their enthralling performances. Eminent Nepalese vocal artist and sarod player, Sri Mohan Sundar Shrestha performed at the event. Four Indian Classical musicians from Varanasi also performed in the programme.

Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri, as the Chief Guest of the Programme, honored the event with his presence.

The audience numbering more than 500 people, including Senior Army Officers of Nepal Army, Nepalese musicians, foreign diplomats and media persons, were totally mesmerized by these captivating performances.
