14 August 2015, Kathmandu- Opener Shikhar Dhawan (134) and skipper Virat Kohli (103) struck sweet centuries helped India to finish Day 2 with a 187-run lead over Sri Lanka at stumps on Thursday in the first Test being played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium yesterday.
Coming on to the field after lunch, India showed an aggressive note as skipper Kohli brought up his 10th Test century. Dhawan and Kohli looked settled for their 227-run third-wicket partnership. But he was dismissed when he the three-figure-mark, going back to the pavilion with the score at 255. But soon afte incoming batsman Ajinkya Rahane was out for a duck on his fifth delivery with India at 257.Set batsman Dhawan and Ashwin (7) also fell soon after to give Sri Lanka something to cheer about before tea break.

Before the tea break Srilanka is batting in third day test at Galle international cricket stadium leading by 71 runs with 4 wicket in hand.
