Breast cancer awareness is an effort to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of breast cancer through education on symptoms and treatment. Supporters hope that greater knowledge will lead to earlier detection of breast cancer, which is associated with higher long-term survival rates, and that money raised for breast cancer will produce a reliable, permanent cure.

Rose Foundation Nepal is working towards these cause and their symptoms and treatment. The foundation mainly focuses on breast cancer among women. The foundation is based off in Nepal where there is lack of proper facilities and low socio-economic status. Rose Foundation has been continuously focused on collecting data for Nepal regarding cancer which will be useful for research studies as well.
