Rasuwa, March 9, 2017: Langtang National Park has increased the time period of keeping the roads open for traffic at night.
The roads passing through the park used to be open for traffic only until 9 pm every day. It will be now extended to 11 pm considering the pressure of transport carriers bringing in goods from the Nepal-China border, chief protection officer at the Park, Yubaraj Regmi said.
The security check post on road leading towards the capital from Rasuwa will be open from 5 am to 11 pm every day. However, support from all sides is expected to help protect the wildlife and bio-diversity protected in the park, added Regmi.
