Kathmandu: Nepal Police has decided to launch a public awareness programme to prevent coronavirus outbreak in the country.

Nepal Police will accomplish a door-to-door campaign and use loudspeakers to inform people about basic safety tips. Deputy Inspector General, Mr.Shailesh Thapa Kshetri assumed that apart from spreading messages about safety measures, they will suggest people not to panic, stay positive and co-operate security agencies in case of coronavirus outbreak.
Nepal Police have adopted safety measures against the disease as they live in a group inside their camps and barracks. The programme is going to held from March 6 and 7 in Dhangadi.
