Kathmandu, July 6, 2018 : Nepal Law Campus has decided to reinforce the quota system in the admission for the BA LLB program from the new academic session.

In a statement signed by Taraprasad Sapkota, Dean at the Faculty of Law at the campus, the administration campus has said the previous decision to allow students who had not appeared in the entrance exam to get admission is now cancelled. The decision to allow anyone to get admission was made under pressure from the student unions but the faculty, examiners and some students had protested against the deal and implement quota system in the admission procedure.

Starting this year quota has been set for the BA LLB admission in the first year. According to the newly introduced quota system, 800 students will be able get admission into the Nepal Law Campus, Exhibition Road and the campuses outside the valley will be allowed to admit 150 students each. Earlier, the campus had agreed to allow all the interested students to get admitted in the BA LLB program after various student unions protested against the provision.
