Bhaktapur, Sept 18: Nepali Congress central member Balkrishna Khand has said the forces who want to lead the country towards disintegration are active in these hours and all should be alert to such reality.
Addressing a programme organised by the NC Bhaktapur today to mark the 17th memorial day of noted democratic fighter Ganeshman Singh, leader Khand said the same forces are attempting to intrude on the constitution drafting process, but this time none could prevent the Constituent Assembly from delivering a new constitution.
Drafting of a democratic constitution meeting the inspirations of all people is the need of the hour, he added.
The Congress leader further underlined the need of following footsteps of leaders BP Koirala and Singh to prove that the Congress has not been suffering intra-party struggle for power and post.
Leader Singh, the Supreme Commander of 1990’s People’s Movement who sacrificed his life for the well being of people and had remarkable contribution to Nepali politics is an unforgettable political figure of the country.
