Kathmandu, Oct 28,2014: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has expressed the confidence that the Chhat festival, that carries a distinct culture with specific norms and values would help enhance fraternity, goodwill and harmony among all the Nepalis.
In a message of best wishes on the occasion of Chhat festival today, Prime Minister Koirala has pointed out that the historical responsibility of institutionalizing federalism, democracy, republic and inclusiveness is possible only through the drafting of the new constitution on the basis of mutual trust, collaboration, unity and reconciliation.
“I wish that this Chhat festival helps generate a noble thought of working for the prosperity of country and people”, the Prime Minister has said in the message while adding that it also motivates all political party leaders to work on the basis of mutual understanding, collaboration, unity and reconciliation for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people.
