Jumla, 5th February, 2015:Â Â Lightening has damaged property worth Rs 1.5 million at the seven-KW Ghattekhola Microhydel Project at Tamti-2, Surki of the district.
According to Pari Rawat, a local, the lightning that occurred on 4 February around 7 pm has damaged the power supply.
Some 110 households have been affected due to the damage to the generator and transmission lines.
Technicians at the Power House Jagat Bahadur and Karna Rawat fell unconscious for two hours after the lightning strike. They had been working in the electricity house when the incident occurred.
