Literary Association of Nepal conducts interaction program on literature and research

Kathmandu, February 21, 2018: Literary Association of Nepal (LAN) held an interaction program on literature and research on February 19, 2018, at Sagarmatha Hall, Padma Kanya Multiple Campus, Kathmandu.

This event provided opportunities for Nepali writers and researchers to exchange their experiences with the participants. Israeli Ambassador, Benny Omer, along with writers and novelists from Nepal and other foreign countries attended the event. Dr. Dorit Silverman and  Smandar Shir talked about the synchronicity of Hebrew and literary trend in Israel at the program.

Omer mentioned that exchanging information about literature and research between Nepali and Israeli writers would help strengthen cultural ties between the two countries. Furthermore, he mentioned Israel’s initiative and interest in holding such programs of cultural significance in the future.

Literary Association of Nepal (LAN) is a non-profit organization.The objectives of the Literary Association of Nepal (LAN) consists of dissemination of Nepalese literature abroad, providing the forum for the study of foreign literature in Nepal and promoting creative writing.
