Rautahat, 20 March, 2015 : CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that every sectors, including the health sector, were affected in the absence of elected representatives in local bodies.
Talking at an interaction programme organized by the Garbage Management Technical Support Centre here at Chandranigahapur in the district today, leader Nepal added that most of the problems seen in every sector at the local level would be resolved soon after the local bodies’ election.
He pointed out the need of making the vegetable farming as an income generating business by maintaining greenery in the areas and organizing the health camps in every village to reduce the health problems.
On the occasion, lawmakers Ram Kumar Bhattarai, Dr Banshidhar Mishra and Lal Babu Yadav, among other local leaders and stakeholders, pointed out the need of maintaining greenery in the areas.
Similarly, executive officers at the Gaur and Garuda municipalities briefed about the problem seen in garbage management in the areas.
