Butwal, Sept 18: It is a very good initiations taken by the youth from Pipaldhara of Gulmi who are presently abroad for higher studies and the employment activities as they have started an ambulance service in their village. They are also focusing for the operating the services regarding social networking in the home town such that it could efficiently help them in developing health services.
The Pipaldhara Chautari Contact Committee World Network, a global social networking campaign launched by the Pipaldhara youths is having the objectives of collecting funds for buying the ambulances for the village. The committee has been registered at the District Administration Office, Gulmi. According to the records provided that 100 youths from the villages and currently residing in India, Malaysia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Korea and Japan are united for making the campaign successful.
Under the convenorship of Baburam Thapa a 25-member main committee has been formed to establish and run the campaign. Similarly, Rs 500,000 has been collected under the campaign and the Pipaldhara folks are further seeing to generate more funds.
Moreover, there other plans are also seem to be objected as they are looking for the way to launch the programmes like public awareness and development programmes in the village. They have specialized for the backward communities in terms of physical infrastructure development, health and education facilities, said committee general secretary Krishna Khanal. The main reasons behind such initiations of campaign is the unwanted experience of Pipaldhara folks due to lack of timely treatment in the past.
