Ratnanagar, Aug 2: Chaite Bote, 70, of Madi of Chitwan district was killed in a rhino attack at Gardi VDC-6 on Friday evening. Bote was on the way to a local tea shop when the accident took place.
Critically injured Bote died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital last night, police said. It is noted that two persons in the district were killed in wild animals’ attacks within two weeks.
According to the Chitwan Police, as many as 20 people were killed and 26 other were injured in wild animals’ attacks in the district since last two years.
