Manindra Singh wins Mr Gay Handsome Nepal 2017


Kathamandu, 27 December, 2017: Manindra Singh bagged the title of Mr Gay Handsome Nepal 2017 amid the ceremony held in Rastriya Nachghar, Kathmandu. The second edition of this pageant was organized by Blue Diamond Society Nepal on Tuesday.

The winner of the title, Manindra Singh, received Rs 50,000 cash prize and trophy while the first runner-up Birendra Chaudhary and second runner-up Anuj Peter Rai received Rs 40,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively.

The organizer of the event, Blue Diamond Society, mentioned that this pageant was a turning point for the LGBTIQ community and the society as a whole. They stated this pageant aimed not only on handsome Nepali gay men on but also an individual who would take the responsibility to champion gay rights and enhance awareness of the LGBTIQ movement in the country.

Although Nepal has progressed and started to accept same-sex relations in its community, mental guidance and fortification of LGBTIQ rights in an efficient way is a work that is yet to be done. Manindra Singh, now a representative of this pageant has a lot of responsibilities to fulfill.
