Jajarkot, Sept. 15: People have been bearing the brunt of not having medicine at the health institutes in their villages.
The District Health Office has not provided medicine as per the demand, said Ram Bahadur Thapa, Chief at Dashera Health Centre, adding that number of patients was growing but there was no medicine to prescribe.
As a result, people are bound to buy medicine at private clinics. “We are compelled to buy medicine at high cost in the private clinics because we are not provided medicine in the government health centres, “said Rabin Pun of Limsa.
Similarly, chief at border health centre, Ram Narayan Chaudhari, said the number of patients is growing with the problems of fever, typhoid and diarrhoea.
