Kathmandu, July 2: In order to discussÂ on the draft of the new constitution, meeting of Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party (NCPP) held today.
In the meeting the lawmakers expressed their views regarding the process of naming and demarcating the border of the new provinces and inclusiveness, among other contemporary issues, Â the Nepali Congress PP chief whip Chinkaji Shrestha informed.
The meeting was chaired byÂ Prime Minister and party president Sushil Koirala. Also,Â party senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel among other leaders were present.
Similarly, naming and delineating the borders of the new provinces by the Constituent Assembly itself was pointed up by lawmakerÂ Bimalendra Nidhi while speaking in the meeting. Also lawmaker Shekhar Koirala said that the new constitution should address all sectors.
Further more,Â ensuring the provision of issuing the citizenship in the name of mother was uplifted byÂ lawmaker Sujata Koirala.Â The PP meeting is said to be continue on Friday.
