Kathmandu, Aug. 3: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and the visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are currently holding talks at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar.
The two leaders are holding one-to-one talks. According to the Prime Minister’s advisor on foreign affairs Dr. Dinesh Bhattarai, they will exchange views on matters of mutual interest and bilateral concern as well as on contemporary political issues.
The Indian Prime Minister’s visit that is taking place after 17 years is expected to add a new dimension in the Nepal-India ties as well as to identify new areas of mutual cooperation, Dr Bhattarai believed.
This would be followed by the delegation level talks between the two countries which would be led by their respective Prime Ministers.
