Kathmandu, August 28 : All workers of media houses should be given minimum salary to that of the working journalist according to the Chairman of Minimum Wages Fixation Committee, Khem Bhandari.
In an interaction program organized by Revolutionary Journalists Association on Thursday, Bhandari said that it was the responsibility of the concerned media house to provide minimum wages to the workers for their living.
Rameep Acharya, Coordinator of Federation of All Nepal Revolutionary Trade Union charged The Kantipur Publication of trying to move ahead by seizing the bread and butter of its workers.
Likewise, Pravat Chalaune, secretary of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) conveyed his total support to the agitation of workers of The Kantipur Publication.
Also, Balaram Thapa from Revolutionary Journalists Association and Madhav Nepal of  General Secretary of Press Chautari Nepal  exhibited their agreement to the movement of the workers.
