Kathmandu, April 10, 2017: Thames International College, Kathmandu and Webster University, St. Louis have signed an Agreement of Articulation on April 6, 2017, for 3+1 partnership model as per the project ‘Sustained Partnership for Institutional Development’ by U.S. Embassy Nepal.
Dr. Peter Maher, Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs, International Campuses and Initiatives from Webster University and Rajendra Man Sherchan, Chairman of Thames International College signed the MoU where Ms. Rekha Giri from U.S. Embassy Nepal, Prof. Ridish K. Pokharel, Planning Chief from Tribhuwan University, Alina Prajapati and Asish Thakur from Anurodh Nepal and faculty members from Thames International College witnessed the MoU signing ceremony.
As per the MoU, students will complete 3 years of Bachelor in Social Work and Rural Development from Thames College and transfer to go Webster University, St. Louis for 1 year of General Studies.
The State Department of U.S. has developed the project for the mutual development of educational institutions for nurturing international partnership and student exchanges with U.S. institution where two educational institutions from each country would be selected for partnership.
The project is aimed to help both educational institutions of two different nations via partnerships in students and faculty exchanges other than the mutual collaborations.
