Kathmandu, September 14, 2018: Skilled Voice series successfully hosted it’s the fourth session with Mr. Anil Keshari Shah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank Limited who shared his inspiring words about the life skills.
The series took place in the premises of Glocal After School, Thapagaun, Kathmandu. As a student of John F Kennedy School of Government, Mr. Shah is an MBA student from Delhi University. He started his career journey by joining Standard Chartered Bank in an assistant position. Correspondingly, he has also served Nabil Bank as its CEO for 5 years. He is one of the most influential icons in the field of Nepalese banking sector and is very popular with youths for his motivating words.
Highlighting about the session, Mr. Shah shared his words about how the youths are responsible to drive Nepal to the path of development. Emphasizing the core competence, he said ‘ Today’s youth must be more aware of their core strength and should focus on bettering it. This is how the young people will develop their passion into their power. There will be more diversified mastery that can uplift different sectors of the nation. ‘
Sharing about his experience, he also mentioned, ‘ It’s really important to share your knowledge and skills with others because that is how you will be safeguarding everyone’s future. Healthy competition matters because it will help you push beyond your comfort zone and see the real potentiality.’
While answering some of the questions raised by the audience, he stated, ‘ Set your priority and update it as per the need. Think about what you can do for the society and act accordingly. Don’t limit yourself to the age barrier. Be a job Maker, not a job seeker.’
The session was attended by almost 30 lively participants followed by the question and answer round with the speaker and concluded with refreshment. General Manager Ms. Alina Prajapati presented the Token of appreciation. Skilled Voice Series is an initiation of Glocal After School as a forum to hear the stories and experiences of a skillful journey from the speakers.
