“MUKTINATH BABA” AN EPIC RELEASED

Kathmandu, Aug. 3: An epic “Muktinath Baba” of litterateur Sita Bhattarai has been released on Saturday.

Five litterateurs— Prof Dr Basudev Tripathi, Dr Bhola Rijal, Dr Gargi Sharma, Prof Rajendra Subedi and Prof Gopi Krishna Sharma—jointly released the epic.

At the programme, special guest Prof Dr Tripathi said that the epic written about Muktinath Baba or Swami Shri Kamalnayanacharya is the best.

Similarly, hero of the epic, Swami Kamalnayanacharya expressed the belief that the epic would play the important role to spread awareness in the society.

Former Chief Secretary and former Secretary of the government, Mukunda Sharma Poudel and Purna Kadariya, said that the epic has the significant contribution in Nepali literature as it is the seventh spic written by women writer.

Likewise, Dr Bhola Rijal, Prof Dr Rajendra Subedi and Prof Gopi Krishna Sharma expressed their views at the programme chaired by litterateur Dr Gargi Sharma.

Epic writer Bhattarai said that she got the opportunity to write epic about the spiritual personality, who is living a saintly life.

The epic has 840 poems written in 15 kinds of metres. It was published by Gyan Deep Shikshya Sadan, Garinagar-9, Chabahil.
