My Two Equal Hand Paints for Zero Discrimination Campaign

Kathmandu, March 5, 2019: On 1st March 2019, Youth Connection Center(YCC), a sister wing of AYON Nepal celebrated Day of Zero Discrimination with the theme ‘Act to change Laws that discriminate’ by organizing ‘My Two Equal Hands Paints for Zero Discrimination Campaign’.

The campaign concept was based on accepting a diversity of fingers in hand for joint actions and commitment to Zero Discrimination. The main objective of Campaign was to encourage every participant to take a stand against discrimination through their commitment by Hand Paint of Equality. A team of 20 youths of YCC assembled at mid-day 12 p.m. at Jawalakhel, Kathmandu yesterday with colors and white cloth to have paint of two hands of people and their commitment for zero discrimination. More than 30 hands painted yesterday on this campaign with their commitment to Zero Discrimination.

Sagar Parajuli, one among Glocal Top 20 Teen Heros 2017 is currently working as Coordinator at Youth Connection Center. Youth Connection Center (YCC), is an independent platform for youth, led by youth that will work on the empowerment of youth, raises youth voices through various youth-led campaigns and conduct activities/projects that impact communities and societies. It is a platform where the Youths themselves take initiation to strengthen and to empower them by conducting various programs campaigns and leadership activities.
