Babiyachaur, Myagdi, Aug. 10: Myagdi district has produced 22.5 metric tones of honey last fiscal year. Production has been increasing with favorable weather and expansion of bee keeping, the District Agriculture Development Office said.
In the fiscal year 2070- 71 BS, 22,500 kg of honey was produced, said Crop Production Officer of the Office, Ghanashyam Karki. He said some 140 farmers are undertaking bee keeping including in Ghatan, Patlekhet, Piple, Pulachaur, Daduwa, Chimkhola and Jyamrukkot in seven groups. RSS
