Melamchi, Sept 5: The national open Karate competition started on Friday with the participation of 200 athletes from 18 districts of five development regions.
In the event organized by Nepal Goju Ryu Karate Association, games will be held in several categories including Goju Ryu, Budokai, Rengokai and Siterio.
The winner, first runner up and second runner up will receive shield, medal and certificate.
The Association Chief Coordinator Sanubabu Giri said that the competition was organized to promote and develop Karate sport in Sindhupalchowk, and keep the morale of athletes high. RSS
