Kathmandu, 8 Dec 2014: The Nepali Congress has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of its lawmaker Hari Bahadur Khadka. Khadka, who was a lawmaker from Baglung Constituency No 1 and Baglung District Working Committee Secretary, died on Sunday night.
Issuing a press release today, the NC said the party and the campaign of the entire democratic movement suffered an irreparable loss in Khadka’s demise.
Wishing for the eternal peace of the departed soul at this hour of sorrow, the NC expressed condolence to the bereaved family and relatives.
The press release issued by NC Chief Whip Rishikesh Tiwari states that the body of lawmaker Khadka has been kept at the NC Party Office from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm to pay final tribute to late Khadka and the body would be taken to his hometown for the last rites today itself.
