Kathmandu, Nov 1,2014 : Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the democratic republic was facing threats due to the activities of the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML).
Speaking at a reception programme organized by the Newa Rastriya Mukti Morcha in Lalitpur today, Chairman Dahal said that secularism, republic and federalism were in risk now.
Chairman Dahal said reverse of secularism means reverse of republic and federalism; therefore, these achievements should be institutionalized soon.
He further said that the parties are in continuous dialogue to reach in consensus on the most disputed issues of constitution.
Form of governance, judiciary, electoral system and restructuring the state are the most disputed issues of the new constitution.
