Kathmandu, August 29: The Nepal Army personnel in Syria under United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) are safe according to The Nepal Army(NA). This information is shared on Friday by The Nepal Army Public Relations Directorate citing to dependent source in Syria.
Under the US mission, one hundred fifty five personnel are employed.
At AL Queintra south of Golan Heights, The Syrian rebels created unease situation. The Nepal Army personnel are employed in an area of 80 kilometers from that region.
On the other hand, the Directorate said that NA personnel did a controlled blast to open Sunkoshi River blockage on Friday. Similarly, construction work of Araniko Highway temporary track was completed.The highway was blocked due to landslide.
