Kathmandu, Oct 24: Nepal registered its first win in the ongoing ICC World Cricket League Division 3 on Friday with a win over Bermuda by eight wickets in the second match.
In the match played in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, Nepal reached the target of 101 in 11.1 overs at the loss of two wickets.
Bermuda invited to bat first after losing the toss posted 100 runs in 40.1 overs losing all wickets. Binod Bhandari scored 43 for Nepal with eight fours and one six in 32 balls.
Basanta Regmi, Shakti Gauchan and Amrit Bhattarai took two wickets each while Sompal Kami and Sagar Pun took one wicket each in Nepal’s win.
