Kathmandu, October 22, 2018: The 38th Nepal Bhasa Sahitya Conference started yesterday is concluding today.
In inauguration of the conferences, Narayan Man Bijukchhe who is the Chairman of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party said,” New generations must be introduced to the culture and tradition and taught how to protect them. They should be encouraged to learn about their native language and literature to make them love their country and culture.”
The conference included the numerous cultural programs that were held in Nepal Bhasa which is also known as Newari language. Additional to it the programs were also conducted in Maithili, Tamang and other languages.
Various literary competitions of story, poem essay competition were held in the first session of the conference. In the second session, the cultural dances and songs were performed.
