Pokhara, 6 January 2018: Nepal Film and Cultural Academy has announced to organize Nepal International Film Festival-NIFF in Pokhara.

This four-day festival is set to kick off from Magh 1. Altogether 53 films from 30 nations are scheduled to be showcased at the film festival. Along with the films, 10 discussion programs are also the major attractions of the event.

Manoj Pandit, the director of NIFF, shared that this festival will be the matter of great concern and not only about showing and watching the movies. “The films in our company are produced either to get an entry in an international festival or to get well markets. These two strategies are exclusively set by the experts of NIFF. Among these movies, the Best Film, Short Film and Nepal Panorama Film will be awarded.” Pandit mentioned.
