Kathmandu: Nepal has reached self-promotion in Western India as a ‘Lifetime Destination’ through a sales mission.
According to the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), about 100 local tour operators participated in sales missions organized in Surat and Pune since early January. These programs were ideal for reaching out to the market in western India especially with fresh communication and updates to the local tourism business.
The programs were focused on demonstrating ‘Nepal as a lifetime experience’ for travellers around the world, especially for Indian travellers. NTB added-“Easy access, time and value for time and various options including Nepalese luxury, soft adventure, spiritual getaway, and entertainment were presented in both cities.”
The third phase of Nepal sales mission in India is the Surat and Pune sales missions, which started in Amritsar and Chandigarh in early January, while Indore and Jaipur were the second.
The NTB is planning similar sales campaigns in Trichy, Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi in the coming weeks.
