Kathmandu: A photo exhibition has been held in Kathmandu of completing 22 years since Nepal Japan ‘Tokushima‘ Friendship Association began. The exhibition started on Tuesday in the gallery room of the Nepal Lalitkala Pragya Prathisthan Nakshal. The two-day exhibition includes 250 photos.
The 22nd year of work and achievement of Nepal Japan ‘Tokushima’ collaboration is demonstrated through photos. On the occasion of 20 years of establishing hydropower in Bhujung in Lamjung, photographs of various scenes have been displayed. The photos in the exhibition show the development work done by Nepalese and Japanese people in rural areas of Nepal.
Nepal Tokushima Friendship Association was established to make the relation between Nepal and Japan strong and sustainable. The collaboration between People-to-People Connection is helping to build Nepal’s local-level development.
Inaugurating the photo exhibition, Minister of Education Science and Technology, Mr. Girirajmani Pokharel said Nepal should learn a lot from the development of Japan. He mentioned that other countries could follow the leap of development that Japan had suffered during the two major world wars.
