Dang, June 15: Nepal Students’ Union continues the padlocking of the Nepal Sanskrit University central office at Beljhundi Dang as of today, since it began on May 5.
In order to exert pressure for the implementation of the agreements signed in the past with university Registrar Jagat Prasad Upadhyaya the union padlocked the university office, Central Ayurvedic Vidyapeeth and Deans’ Office, stated student union.
The students union said that the dialogue is said to resume today as well. Academic activities and even examinations were affected due to the strike in the university.Though talks were held between the two sides on Sunday it failed to reach to any conclusion.
However that university were not in a position to implement all the agreements reach with the students in the past, said University administration sources.
