Kathmandu, February 7, 2017: The 4G service of Nepal Telecom will now work on Apple devices too beginning today.
Issuing a press statement, Nepal telecom today said that the service will work on all the series of Apple devices.
Earlier, the facility was available to Android device users only.
Nepal Telecom had launched the fourth generation of telecommunication service on January 1, 2-017. As of now, only the users in Pokhara and Kathmandu can use the 4G service.
To activate the service on iPhones, you need to visit the website https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram, and download your profile, backing up the device data. Then you need to go to General >Setting>Software Update and download the Beta Software Program. And, 4G service will start working on your device.
But, you will need to replace your SIM card it with a new 4G enabled U-SIM to avail the service.
