After a thrilling and dramatic semi final win against Maldives, Nepali team will now play against the host India for gold medal in South Asian Games.
This is the first time after 17 years Nepal is playing a final match in SAG. The history is not in favor of Nepal. However, with the recent form and spirit of Nepalese players, it seems that the final match will be much more interesting with Indian side looking excellent as well.
Nepal had won just two gold till now in South Asian Games and India is most successful among the South Asian nations. Similarly, Nepali team is fresh from their Bangabandhu Gold Cup truimph and will wish to celebrate in the same way tomorrow as well.
The match will carry great importance for Nepali team as they are struggling through many internal problems and will be eager to show that NepalI Football is not going down, infact it is rising.
