Nepal upsets Afghanistan to unlock the door for Finale

 Kathmandu 27 August 2015 –  Nepal beats Afghanistan  to secure their place in finale of SAF U-19 championship 2015 today. Among the thousand supporters Nepal showed wonderful teamwork. Well known competitor got stressed 3-2 defeat in ANFA complex in Lalitpur today. Nepal register the  name of  first finalist in championship. Nepal takes lead in 34 minute of the game. Stricker Anjan Bista beautifully directed  the cornered  ball  into the Afgan post. Within a four minute Nepal doubled the score in 37 minute. gn3_2134016796

Nepal posted 2-0 lead  the table in the first half. In 50 minutes Afghistan cuts the deficit. But Nepal couldn’t wait long to extend the lead. Bimal Bal hit gorgeous free kick which kissed Afghan net sweetly to give Nepal a 3-1 lead in 55 minute. Afghanistan struggled for equalization  but could not cut the Nepalese defend warrior.In 72 minutes Nepalese defend looked little tired and Afghanistan took the advantage. Celebrating  their second goal Afghan got a golden opportunity to reduce the distance. Throughout the match Afghan  played full on offensive but could not score more to even tie the table.

Anjan Bista score important  2 goal to secure the victory  where Sunil  Bal scored 1. Nepal government has announced cash prize of one Lakh  if they secure the champion trophy. Nepal will face the winner from  India and Bangladesh in finale.
