 Nepal lost their World Cricket league championship match against P.N.G as they couldn’t defend their 235  runs.

In a match played at Abu Dhabi,U.A.E.,Nepal lost against P.N.G. with just two wickets and three balls remaining. Winning the toss, P.N.G elected to bat first.  Nepal kept 235 runs on the board credit to the opener Subash Khakurel who contributed 63 runs off just 104 balls and Sharad Veswakar who played an stunning inning of 78 runs and lifting the runs to 235 runs of Board. Beside these batsman, other failed to leave a mark as rest four batsman just contributed 39 runs for the team. Nepal’s spinner Basanta Regmi also contributed crucial 24 runs from 23 balls .  For U.A.E., A vala grabbed 3 crucial wickets and likewise MD dai took 2 wickets on his name.
Initially Nepal Bowled brilliantly as when P.N.G. were 86-4,it seemed that the fate was on Nepal’s hand. However brilliant batting display from  A vala who made  87 runs, shattered all the hopes for Nepal side. P.N.G. chased the target on the ultimate over and took  a important lead on World Cricket league Championship. For Nepal,Paras Khadka and Mehebob alam shared two wickets each.
Nepal will play their second match against P.N.G. on November 18.
