Bhaktapur, 17 October 2014: Non-resident Nepalese in Canada have provided support to three helpless children of Changunarayan VDC-7, Mijar village of Bhaktapur district.

The minors were rendered helpless after their father Ram Krishna Sarki (Mijar), who reached Saudi Arab for earning money, returned home on a very critical condition after serious illness.

Iswor Thapa, a resident of Rupandehi who is currently in Canada, collected and sent some amount in support of innocent children after knowing their situation through the news disseminated on last September 11.

Cash Rs 52,265, sent through Bijaya Singh Thapa of Rupandehi currently living in Sanepa, was handed over to the family members of Mijar reaching to their house on Thursday.

The children remained hapless when their father,  breadwinner of the home, Ram Krishna, 40, who entered Saudi Arab on shoe-repairing work, returned Nepal with no hope of health improvement after three-month-long treatment in Saudi.

“Our father has been in sickbed for the past three months. He could neither speak nor move. Our mother eloped with other. We are facing a tough time to collect assistance for father’s treatment and arrange our hand to mouth. Now we are in a very difficult situation:, said Ram Krishna’s eldest daughter Sabita in an outburst of tear.
