Nepali Cricket Team Announced For ICC World Cricket League Division III

Kathmandu, September 26 :  The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced participation in the ICC World Cricket League Division III on Friday with a 14 member Nepali Cricket squad which is to be held in Malaysia.

According to CAN, the league is to be held from 23rd October to 30th October under the captaincy of Paras Khadka with his team members. The deputy captain of the team was appointed for Gyanendra Malla.

Bhuwan Karki is the captain of under 19 national cricket team. The other team members are Sharad Veswakar, Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Subash Khakurel, Naresh Budhayer, Sompal Kami, Sagar Pun, Mehaboob Alam, Arif Shekh, Binod Bhandari, Amrit Bhattarai and Bhuwan Karki.

Nepal will be playing against Singapore, Uganda, USA, Bermuda and host Malaysia.

Majority of the players of the team to represent Nepal in the Division III league left today for Incheon city of South Korea to compete in cricket of the ongoing 17th Asian Games.
