Pyuthan, March 15: Runner and climber Sanjay Pandit from Pyuthan district has hoisted the Nepali flag atop the Mount Aconcagua of South America.
The resident of Tikura from Pyuthan municipality-9, Mr Pandit climbed the peak with 6,962 meter height on Friday. He also hoisted the national flag of Nepal and sported himself in daura suruwal and bhadgaunle cap.
Talking to the National News Agency (RSS), he said, “I’m on a campaign to scale the famous peaks of the world, and mounting peaks in South America is technically difficult.”
