Kathmandu, February 19, 2017: The folk-rock band Nepathya is all set to perform at the Kalika School premises in Butwal this February 25.

The upcoming ‘Music for Unity’ show is being organized by Butwal-based ‘Yes Nepal’. The show will benefit Abhiyan Nepal Child Home, said Santosh Tandan of the organizing team.

“While producing shows out of the capital, we have always been careful that cities outside Kathmandu are treated with the same technical excellence,” said Kiran Krishna Shrestha of Nepa-laya, Nepathya’s management company, adding, “The same production team from the recently held Tundikhel concert will be working for this show.”

The community run Kalika School currently provides education to 3000 students, and remains popular among students and guardians of the locality.

“I am delighted to witness the growth of Kalika School and the vibrancy Butwal currently demonstrates. This is an example of prosperity brought by peace after a decade-long conflict,” said Amrit Gurung, the lead vocalist of the band.

The concert will feature Nepathya’s hit list along with the recently released new numbers.
