Kathmandu, September 22, 2017: Popular Nepali folk-rock band, Nepathya, is all set to perform at the Olympic Hall of Seoul Olympic Park this October 4.
The show is being hosted by Kaski Pariwar on the occasion of Korea’s Chuseok Festival, a major harvest festival celebrated with three days of public holiday when people visit their ancestral hometown. For Nepalese communities out there, the concert will become an opportunity to get together with friends.
As per The South Korean Embassy sources, there are currently more than 40,000 Nepalis working in South Korea under the EPS work scheme.
This is the fifth performance of Nepathya in Seoul. The band had performed there for the first time in 2005. Our last show was at the prestigious KBS Arena, and now we are performing at the Olympic Hall.
As part of the 25-year celebration, Nepathya has been releasing music videos in regular frequency and recently concluded their Australia – New Zealand Tour with encouraging acceptance.
In the concert, Nepathya front man Amrit Gurung will be accompanied on stage by Dhruba Lama on drums, Suraj Thapa on Keyboards, Subin Shakya on bass, Niraj Gurung on guitar, and Shanti Rayamajhi on madal.
