Dhading: The bus library is being launched to encourage a reading culture in various schools and communities. The programme is launched for the first time in the district with the support of the US Embassy in Nepal.
Adarsha Secondary school, Gajuri, Bageshwati secondary school, Baireni and Satyawati secondary school, Adamghat and along with local people will participate in the programme. At the end of the programme session, the facilitators and students will present art-work, stories, poems, and songs. The programme will be held on 17 -18 February.
Ms.Nisha Karki, Member of bus library assumed that various information will be provided to readers related to education, technology and others. According to the organizers, they are providing mobile library access to schools and communities creatively and also added that the bus library has a stock of about 2,000 books.
